Following graduation from Oklahoma State University, Chance went to work for Exxon Mobil Corporation as a revenue accountant in Houston, Texas. Opting for a career change, he began his legal education at the University of Mississippi and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma for his final two years. While at the University of Oklahoma, Chance was a member of the Native American Law Student Association, the Luther Bohannon American Inn of Court, and the Federal Bar Association. His academic achievements included being selected for the Dean’s Honor Roll every semester and receiving the AmJur Award in Insurance Law. He was also a two-time member of the National Trial Team and was chosen as a member of the Order of Solicitors. During his second year of law school, Chance had the honor of interning for the Chief Judge of the Western District of Oklahoma, Judge Robin Cauthron. He joined the firm in September 2008, and the main focus of his practice is civil litigation.
