    On April 19, 1995, minutes after Timothy McVeigh walked away from a bomb-laden Ryder truck parked in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, the sunny spring morning went dark. Less than three weeks after what was then the deadliest domestic terrorist attack in American history, Patrick M. Ryan was sworn in as U.S. attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma.

  • In Memoriam – Craig Kennamer

    RWCS extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Craig Kennamer, who died after a long-standing battle with cancer on March 30, 2009.  At the time of his death, Craig was Deputy Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.  In the 1990s, he was a colleague of Mark Coldiron and Don Shandy in the firm of McKinney, Stringer & Webster.  At the DEQ, Craig worked with many RWCS environmental attorneys at various times on different matters, always displaying the highest standards of professionalism, providing the most reasonable guidance and advice possible, and making impartial and wise decisions.  Craig Kennamer will be sorely missed.

  • RWCS Attorneys Donate Time for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children

    Oklahoma Lawyers for Children (“OLFC”) is an organization of volunteer pro bono lawyers that represent deprived children in the Juvenile Division of the Oklahoma County District Court.  OLFC works through the Public Defender’s office to provide representation in accordance with the local, state and national standards for representation of children.
