Keith Klein is a seasoned litigator with many years of trial and administrative hearing experience at the federal and state level. His practice focuses on energy and environmental litigation, regulation and permitting. He has handled numerous major environmental permitting projects and enforcement matters involving air, water, and hazardous waste issues. Klein’s experience includes PSD and nonattainment area issues, NDPES permits, water quality standards, 401 certifications, mercury deposition, wetlands, stormwater, groundwater, water rights, endangered species, environmental assessments and impact statements, remediation of contaminated property, and defense of environmental crime cases. Klein has extensive experience with regulatory and enforcement agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Justice, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Klein is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.
